A trip through Central City

"God, Colonel, tone it down!"

This papercutting piece was a submission for the "FMAB fanbook: Fullmetal Alchemist travel anthology" that, in collaboration with other artists, depicts the Elric brothers' travels through the country of Amestris in search of a way to get their original bodies back.

It is one of the first larger illustrations I completed using this medium, and will hold a special place in my heart for that. It taught me about planning, work-flow and patience; all things that I take into account whenever I set out to create other works of this kind.
