The costume was created for GioCoMix event in Cagliari, making it completely handmade and worn my the same person. The process time was roughly 10 days of work, from pattern creation to sewing process.
The materials are stretch fake leather fabric, Lycra, fake leather, lace and cotton. The skirt details are made from white termoadhesive vinyl for a total of 8 meters. The visor is see-through, made by thermoplastic material base and net fabric. The wig is styled from a feathered bob-cut base and dyed, creating a gradient from white to grey.
Prop Reference and details
The prop “Beastlord” from Japanese Videogame NieR is a lightweight and roughly 2 meters tall made of polyethylene and silicone, painted with acrylic paints. The lion figure is modeled with modeling clay and molded in silicone to have both sides equal, other details are made with foam and metal nails.
