Organization: Conservation Tales
Project: Branding + Identity Design
             Promotion + Marketing
Role: Graphic Designer + Marketer

Conservation Tales is a Ball State University faculty and student built organization (immersive learning course for students) that works with Tom McConnell the writer (biology professor) and Barbara Giorgio the art director. They work together, with the help from selected students from different degrees (education, illustrators, designers + marketers) to create a team that will be able to produce successful book series.

The book series are about different animal species that are endangered and target 3rd-5th grade students to inform and teach them about animal conservation. Each book focuses on one animal species and goes into detail on why they are endangered and how we can help, even at home. The books include very detailed illustrations and writing that are gathered from live researchers and scientist even down to what the scientists wear when in the field. The books also include various types of diversity and individuals who may have a disability in order to also teach them respect and acceptance and that they too can also be a part of this amazing movement to save the animals and earth.

So far Conservation Tales has published four books including: Bats, Cerulean Warbler, Bees, and Salamanders. Currently, we are working on finishing three more books about Manatees, Sea horses, and Sea Turtles! This is where I came in.
