ASCENSION
Part of the thesis Proximity, Interaction, Evolution
Growing up in the Tennessee, climbing Magnolia trees was a huge part of my childhood.  It was a feeling like no other to be safe within the system of branches, leaves, and
flowers .  This is a feeling I have never found in another area,  but this design aims to recreate it.

The plan represents the unknown possibilities of spaces that exist just beyond the one being occupied.  There is no way of knowing where it will lead, except to explore it.

As you move father outward into the plan, the negative spaces become larger, and the occupied spaces, more scarce.
As you ascend  a tree, there is always the excitement of not knowing how far up you can go.  This plan emulates that feeling.
