Two videos were featured prominently in the JewelJewel project.
The first, JewelJewel, plays with the conventions of Kickstarter videos in order to contextualize JewelJewel within the sphere on which it is commenting. This video played inside of the refrigerator in the gallery installation in Woods Gerry, from 4/28/16 until 5/3/16.
The second is an interview with my mother, who obtained a PhD in Electronics Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. This has been combined with advertisements for refrigerators form the 1950s, matching the era of the fridge used in JewelJewel. This video played next to the sculpture itself.
