Frame of Space (Thesis)

Frame of Space

This project was created out of a fascination with the ways in which we are connected with our spaces. The final piece is a compilation of research topics into a process book, and a reactive projection-mapping installation using a series of frames that explores the relationship between physical and digital spaces.

Each frame represents a small window into a vast and continuously generative digital landscape embedded into all of our physical environments. Visualized within this space, is an extension of the personal data and information carried through messages, thoughts, phones, devices, etc. This abstract digital self is manifested and distorted into the terrain; playing with the perception and connection of the space they’re in.
