We utilized Adobe Illustrator to design a 3D design concept that could be printed on a variety of materials for this project. My design was a wooden lantern that measured 10” by 7”. Butterflies are used throughout the design to represent a woman’s journey through every aspect of life. The objective was to convert from a 2D computer design to a physical 3D product, which was accomplished by laser cutting wood.
