coral rust // sculpture, fall 2021
This wire sculpture was inspired from corals observed in nature lab at RISD.
The wire swirls and overlaps to embody the texture on the surface of the coral and builds
on the linear hollow cylindrical branches connected to a base. It conveys the feeling of
a coral more than an actual coral itself.
