C4IR Ocean dataplatform

How can we give business, scientists and politicians the knowledge they need to take care of the ocean?

In order to take care of the health of the sea, we need knowledge. We are proud and humbled to be allowed to participate in this in partnership with C4IR Ocean and the construction of the "digital twin of the oceans".

Although there are millions of datasets with data about the sea already, there is no place where this data is collected. In other words, we lack a platform where business, researchers and politicians and can easily get an overview and insight into the state of the sea.
Ocean Data Platform (OPD) is a digital twin of the world's oceans. A digital twin is an exact copy of something physical, in this case, that includes components such as artificial, cloud-based services and IoT. ODP will be just this, a data platform that collects ocean data from silos and collects them in one place. The ocean data to be collected at ODP will include both ecosystems such as fish and birds, and man-made activity such as ship traffic, emissions and noise.
