While I can take countless photos and instantly see the results with my camera, I choose to shoot film instead.

I love film for its mesmerizing color, dynamic range, incredible grain and what it can do with natural light—all of which form its uniqueness. Every photo I take represents a discovery of a new dimension of my artist self, and an upgrade of my creativity. Each piece of artwork not only captures a scene from reality, but also carries all the thoughts, feelings, and emotions from my inner soul at a certain point in time. That explains why each and every frame I shoot is different from one another even though they may be taken at the exact same place and at the exact same time. In the hustle and bustle of the digital age, film shooting is one of the very few things that can give me a temporary escape from the chaotic reality to seek self-love, self-care, and self-exploration.

Words cannot describe how head over heels I am for the process of shooting films. I guess the reason is that shooting films is a form of self-expression, which truly resonates with my deep-rooted desire to be the one and only ME.
