TSIC (The Shrubbal In City)

TSIC is a share house located in city, it provides the 3 bedrooms and 5 shared areas.

‘Spaces receive their essentail being from locales and not from 'space'. The relation between locale and space lies in the essence of these things as locales.’ Stated by Martin Heidegger (Building Dwelling Thinking, 1945, p.356).

The ephemeral elements of the house is the feeling when residents enter the house and the vision of green plants make sense of relaxation. The green plants in TSIC gives the concept of space relaxation.

The tangible elements of our share house are green plants and clear area division. The whole building includes lots of green plants, cause in busy social life, the residents can relax by the green visions, and green plants can also make a comfortable environment. So that is the reason why the name of the house called TSIC which means the shrubbal locate in city.

The performative elements in our house is the interlaced floors each level and the glass bridge on the top floor. This element gives residents sense of geometrical and artistical.

That is why we design it.
