Logo I created for a property management company in Christchurch, New Zealand. The client wanted to go against expectations of using a red colour or literal ruby imagery in the logo, and instead wanted me to emphasize that their business was primarily online, leading us to create a fun building blocks style house image incorporating the mouse pointer icon.

One of the property managers mentioned that she was often using business cards to write details down like viewing times or the like, so we came up with the idea to add a space on the card specifically for notes.

There were a few sub-brands of Ruby Housing that also needed logos for invoices and other internal documents so I created these 3 other logos in a similar style but with different logo marks and colour to differentiate them. Fun fact - "Rima" is the Māori word for "Five", hence the 5 located in the negative space in the logo. These were created not long after the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake hence the need for temporary earthquake rentals.
