Illustration made for the Mid Autmun Festival 2018 campaign of La Maison du Vietnam. The Mid Autumn festival is also known as Têt Trung Thu in Vietnam, hence the title.
I wanted to draw a playful rabbit as I image it from the old Asian legend of the rabbit that lives on the Moon. In the ink drawing stage, I also thought about adding a leaf for depicting Autumn season but this was dropped along the process to only keep the rabbit in front of the Moon.
